Last night I caught TOP GUN in 3D. I missed the opportunity to see it in IMAX,  but the Regal Crocker Park in Westlake is still showing it through the week at 9:55pm each night at least through Thursday.
Usually when studios dust off older films and put them in 3D, they usually look pretty bad. However, the 3D in this was actually pretty well done. The movie itself still seems to hold up while at times it is a little cheesy. I think the best part of it was the enhanced soundtrack which made me think, films these days really aren’t soundtrack driven as much. Perhaps its because licensing fees for songs are so high? Unsure.
But anyway for those who have never gotten the opportunity to see TOP GUN on the big screen, here is your chance!
